What are the chances that Samuel Blais makes the team this year? Sounds like Yeo is a big fan.

Paajarvi and Jaskin ought to be looking over their shoulders. There are a handful of players in camp that could easily take their spots.

I only have seen a few minutes of the third but it appears Jaskin is having a good game - good primary assist, good for going right after Wilson after his cheap, late hit on Thomas.

Husso has looked very good.

The Caps announcers were terrible.

Husson continues to impress. Kid has a really, really high ceiling.

Back in 2014 Wiz had him pegged like this "Top European goaltender who displays good technique, athleticism, glove and fluid movement. He was selected to the roster for the World Junior Under-18 Tournament in April."

Yeah he just needs to find some consistency, we've seen some good games from him in the past. What I was saying was not as much of a knock against Jaskin (never really been a fan of Paajarvi) as it was a compliment to guys like Thomas, Thompson, Kyrou, and Kostin. As far as I'm concerned Paajarvi shouldn't be playing over Beau Bennett when fully healthy.

I know it's only preseason but these guys have a lot of speed and a lot of skill. Defense gave up some pretty good chances but Husso was there. I agree Jammer, he looks really good. Played very well in a game that for him probably came with a lot of pressure, probably the toughest opposition he's ever faced with the likes of Holtby and a fairly veteran caps lineup.
